Turn and Seek

To develop fine motor skills and visual memory

In this seek-and-find activity children develop fine motor skills and visual memory. Children hold the roll, turn the wheel, move the wheel up and down, search and find matching images. It also trains observation and matching skills. Let’s get started.

What you’ll need

  • Chanafavors Free Printables
  • Toilet Paper Rolls
  • Adhesive Tape
  • Transparent Plastic
  • Permanent Marker
  • Scissors

How to Set Up

  1. Print the Chanafavors printable file. Cut out the picture cards and the image sheet.
  2. Attach the image sheet to the toilet paper roll.
  3. Cut a strip of clear plastic the length of the toilet paper roll circumference. Draw a circle on the plastic strip with a permanent marker to make an outer roll.

How to play

  1. Show your children how to turn the wheel and move the wheel up and down. Point to the circle as the focal point.
  2. Choose a picture card. Invite your children to find the matching image and move the circle to surround it.
  3. Repeat with the remaining picture cards.
