Squirrel and Apple Letters

To train your child’s finger muscles and hand-eye coordination

This activity encourages children to train their finger muscles and hand-eye coordination using their curiosity by pressing and rubbing the cotton swab in the desired position and direction. They will also enjoy identifying letters with curiosity. Let’s do it.

What you’ll need

  • Chanafavors Free Printables www.chanafavors.com (Link in Bio)
  • Alphabet Letters
  • Paper
  • Chalk
  • Adhesive Tape

How to Set Up

  1. Print the Chanafavors free printable file. Attach a sheet of clear sticker on top.
  2. Mix dish soap with red watercolor and paint over white letters. Dry it with a hair dryer.
  3. Attach the squirrel image to a cotton swab.

How to play

  1. Show your children how to rub the paint on an apple with the squirrel cotton swab.
  2. Ask the children to read the letters they see.

Tips

  • This worksheet can be reused until the children become more familiar with the letters.
