Sea Waves

In this activity, children can practice cutting along curves that require both hands. Stopping at specific points allows them to be able to cut into shapes in the future. Coloring also helps children develop visual and concentration skills. Let’s do it.

What you’ll need

  • Chanafavors Free Printables www.chanafavors.com (Link in Bio)
  • Magic Markers
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Construction Paper

 

How to Set Up

  1. Print the Chanafavors free printable files. Print the wave pattern on blue paper and the coloring page on white paper.

How to play

  1. Fold the blue paper in half and fold it again along the dotted lines. Have your children cut along the curve and stop at the dotted line. Unfold the paper to create waves.
  2. Have your children color the sea creatures and cut them out.
  3. Attach the sea creatures on the waves as they like.

 

Tips

  • This artwork can be displayed vertically on the table for children to feel accomplished.
