Butterfly Pom Pom – Printable kids activity for training children’s color recognition or hand control and hand-eye coordination at any age
In this activity, players practice color recognition, finger and hand control in the desired direction, and hand-eye coordination. It’s a simple activity that takes a little time to set up and is useful for children’s pencil control or for people of all ages who want to practice their finger and hand control. What you’ll need
- Scissors
- Pom Pom Balls
- Bottle Caps
- Hot Glue Gun and Sticks
- Spoon
How to Set Up
- Print them out. Attach four bottle caps to the black body of the yellow butterfly with a glue gun. Cut out colorful butterfly cards. Prepare a bowl of colorful pom-poms and a small spoon.
How to play
- To play, select a colored butterfly card. Use the small spoon to pick up colored pom-poms and place them on each bottle cap to form a corresponding butterfly. Repeat for all cards to practice fine motor control.
