To help your child better control hand pressure when writing
In this activity children can practice controlling the hand pressure in drawing with a pointed stick on the foam and pressing the paper on the foam egg. It helps the kids to aware of the pencil pressure when writing. Let’s get started.
What you’ll need
- Chanafavors Free Printables www.chanafavors.com (Link in Bio)
- Finger Paint
- Foam Sheets
- Pointed Sticks
- Paper
- Ice Cube Tray / Sponge
How to Set Up
- Print Chanafavors free printable files. Cut out the egg template.
- Place the egg template on the foam sheet. Trace the line around it and cut the egg out.
- Prepare a palette with finger paints and a small sponge for each color.
How to play
- Show your children how to draw patterns on foam eggs with a pointed stick. Invite your children to draw as they like.
- Press the sponge onto the color in the palette. Then press the sponge over the foam egg.
- Press the paper evenly onto the foam egg so that the paint adheres to the paper. Peel the paper off to get the egg art.
Tips
- In this activity we used foam sheets from unused packaging.
