Dachshund Alphabet

To help children spell their names and familiarize with letters

In this activity, children not only familiarize themselves with uppercase and lowercase letters but also learn to spell their own names as part of their early literacy development. Using a clothespin is also training their hand strength. Let’s get started.

  • Glue Stick

How to Set Up

  1. Print the Chanafavors printable file, cut out dachshund images and the letters.
  2. Stick each dachshund image and letter on the clothespin with a glue stick.
  3. Clip a picture of the dachshund’s head and tail to each end of the jumbo stick.

How to play

  1. Invite your child to select letters and clip them in sequence as their name or word.
