To sort and classify colors, patterns, and numbers, developing recognition skills
In this activity, children identify, classify and place bottle caps on all dots of the same color, pattern or number. Recognizing colors, patterns and numbers is helpful for future learning. Let’s get started.
What you’ll need
- Scissors
How to Set Up
- Print the Chanafavors printable file.
- Cut out the cards.
How to play
- Place the colored sheet in front of your child. Choose a random colored card as a sample card. Point to the card and talk about the color.
- Ask if your child can find dots of the same color. Place the bottle caps on all the same colored dots. Repeat the process with the other colors.
- Repeat the process for the pattern sheet and number sheet.
