To practice hand-eye coordination and learn magnetic properties with a fun
In this activity, kids roll the dice and play with their wands to collect Halloween items. Whoever collects the most items will win. The magnet of the wand attracts the metal paper clip inside the cup. Magnetic attraction will work at a distance and fall when it is not there. Let’s practice hand-eye coordination and learn science with fun games.
What you’ll need
- Paper Clip
- Magnet
- Paper Cups
- Craft Stick
- Scissors
- Masking Tape
How to Set Up
- Print the Chanafavors printable file. Cut out Halloween items and the dices. Fold along the dotted lines and glue along the tabs. Then construct the dice.
- Attach a Halloween item to the bottom of the outer paper cup. Attach a metal paper clip to the bottom of the inner cup with tape.
- Attach a magnet to the tip of the craft stick and wrap it with masking tape.
How to play
- Show your kids how to roll the dice and collect items according to the dice. Take turns collecting items and whoever collects the most will win.
