Halloween Jars

Printable preschool Halloween activity to show the properties of transparent objects, encourage children’s finger movements

Halloween Jars – In this activity, children will see with their own eyes that the oiled paper is a translucent object that allows some light to pass through so they can see what’s in the Halloween jars. Children also practice gripping by using their thumb and index finger to pick up thin paper and place it in a precise position. Take turns picking a jar and whoever collects all the items first wins. This is a lot of fun. Let’s do it.
