Tortoise Memory Game

Visual recognition activities help children develop cognitive skills and improve other brain functions such as concentration and attention. In this activity, children learn the information they receive and choose tortoiseshells with matching patterns and colors. Let’s do this for them.

What you’ll need

  • Chanafavors Free Printables www.chanafavors.com (Link in Bio)
  • Laminator and Laminating Pouches
  • Wooden Clothespins
  • Hot Glue Gun and Sticks
  • Scissors

How to Set Up

  1. Print the Chanafavors free printable files. Cut out and laminate the tortoises and shells.
  2. Attach the shell to the clothespin with a glue gun.

How to play

  1. Place all the shells in front of your children. Choose a tortoise. Talk about the given patterns and colors.
  2. Ask your children to match the shell with the tortoise. Clamp the matched shell to the tortoise.
  3. The game continues until all tortoises have been matched and removed from the playing area.
