Dinosaur Maze

Children develop fine motor skills in grasping, holding, and moving objects. In this activity, children hold the paper cylinder with their non-dominant hand for stability and move the car along the path with their dominant hand for precision. Let’s try this activity to train both hands.

What you’ll need

  • Chanafavors Free Printables
  • Photo Paper
  • Transparent Plastic
  • Double-sided Tape
  • Scissors

How to Set Up

Print out the Chanafavors free printable file on photo paper. Cut out the car image at the corner.

Place double-sided tape on the edge of the background frame at the marked position. Roll the background until one edge is attached to the other.

Make an outer roll about 2″ wide with transparent plastic. Attach the car image on the transparent roll.

Tips

*Using hands to pick and spin will help children develop their muscle skills.

*After your children know how it works, try not to interrupt them when they are focused.
