Dot Boxes

A simple task but a fair bit of brain work to keep fine motor and cognitive skills sharp

During this activity, players will need to rapidly adapt their thinking and use their cognitive abilities to command their hands to rotate the dot boxes as needed. This task seems simple, but it actually requires a fair bit of brain work. Let’s do it.

What you’ll need

  • Cardboard
  • Hot Glue Gun and Sticks
  • Paper Fasteners
  • Cutter Knife

How to Set Up

  1. Stick this sheet on cardboard and cut out the base and dot boxes.
  2. Attach the dot boxes to the base with split pins and hot glue and try rotating it.
  3. Cut out the pattern cards.

How to play

  • Let the players rotate the four dot boxes to match the positions according to the card.
