Having fun with letters is the beginning of a child’s love of reading. In this activity, children play detectives and find letters with detective glasses. Only the correct colored glasses must be used to see the letters. Let’s get started.

What you’ll need
- Chanafavors Free Printables www.chanafavors.com (Link in Bio)
- Toilet Paper Rolls
- Cellophane Sheets
- Hot Glue Gun and Sticks
- Paper Straw
- Scissors
- Magic Markers

How to Set Up
- Cut a tissue paper roll about 1 inch wide and attach it to the cellophane with a glue gun. Cut off excess.
- Cut the paper straw in half and attach it to the side to make a handle. Make another one with a different color.
- Print the alphabet sheet from Chanafavors free printable file. Doodle over all letters with a marker the same color as cellophane.

Tips
*Using a marker of the same color as the cellophane will allow you to see different colored letters.
