Cat Facial Expressions

To make children think about facial expressions and learn emotions

This activity not only encourages children to think about facial expressions which is the first step in learning emotions. It also familiarizes the kids with the probabilities of the dices. Let’s get started.

What you’ll need

  • Chanafavors Printables
  • Scissors
  • Glue Stick

How to Set Up

  1. Print the Chanafavors printable file.
  2. Cut out the dices. Fold along the dotted lines and attach double-sided tape along the tabs. Then construct the dices.
  3. Place the cat’s face in front of your child.

How to play

  1. Roll the eye dice and place the corresponding eye according to the dice.
  2. Roll the mouth dice and place the corresponding mouth according to the dice.
  3. Ask the child to imitate the cat’s face and learn its emotions from its eyes or mouth.

Adult supervision is required for any activity presented by CHANA and Chanafavors.
