This is fun, easy and very useful. Let’s exercise your (and your kid’s) fingers in this activity. Color matching can also help train the brain. You can also ask your children to use their non-dominant hand or both hands alternately as well. Have a Finger Gym Fun day!
What you’ll need
- Bubble Wrap
- Cardboard
- Circle Punch
- Construction Paper
- Glue Stick
- Permanent Marker
How to Set Up
- Circle punch construction paper to make colored circles. Stick colored circles on the cardboard to make color cards.
- Place the bubble wrap on the table with the flat side up. Color the dots randomly using the same permanent markers as the color cards we made.
- Place a sheet of paper on top and turn both the paper and the bubble wrap over (to protect your table), so the bubble side faces up.
Tips
*After your children are already familiar with the primary colors, you can add more colors in a later session.
