To practice cutting, number recognition and sequencing
In this activity, children practice using scissors to cut simple strips in one go. Cutting and sticking is a good brain training for kids. Children also improve number recognition and sequencing. Let’s do it.
What you’ll need
- Chanafavors Printables
- Scissors
- Masking Tape
- Cutter Knife / Ruler
How to Set Up
- Print the Chanafavors printable file.
- Cut out the number strip with a cutter knife.
- Place masking tape on the back of the whale spout with the adhesive side facing up.
How to play
- Invite your children to cut the strip for numbers.
- Ask the children to find number 1, 2, and so on. Place the numbers on the whale spout accordingly.
