Stencil 101 for Kids

Stencils are a fun way to add an image or pattern to a surface. Hand stencils are an old painting technique that can be applied to a lot of other things. This activity gets children to learn to use a simple rectangular stencil. Let’s do it.

What you’ll need

  • Chanafavors Free Printables (Link in Bio)
  • Watercolor Paint
  • Sponge
  • Scissors

How to Set Up

  1. Print the Chanafavors free printable file. Cut out the rectangular. Then place the rest of the paper on the cloud paper. Use masking tape to hold it in place.
  2. Pour a small amount of paint onto the watercolor tray.
Adult supervision is required for any activity presented by CHANA and Chanafavors.
