Yarn rolls to practice hand, finger and eye control
In this activity, children practice hand and finger control in relation to their eyesight and concentrate on winding the yarn. The kids will feel confident in themselves after they are done. Let’s get started.
What you’ll need
- Chanafavors Printables
- Adhesive Tape
- Cutter Knife
How to Set Up
- Print the Chanafavors printable file.
- Make a hole in the mouth slightly larger than the yarn. Thread the end of the yarn through the hole in the back of the picture. Pull the end of the yarn forward and attach it to the plate with clear tape.
- Pull the end of the yarn and place it on the plate like spaghetti. Arrange the roll of yarn under the picture and attach the picture sheet to the table with clear tape.
How to play
- Show how to wind the yarn slowly and let the children try it themselves.
