To help your child recognize numbers and sequencing

This activity helps children recognize numbers and sequencing. You can also ask older children for more than and less than numbers. After answering, they can check if the answer is correct with a watercolor brush. Let’s do it.

What you’ll need

  • Chanafavors Printables
  • White Crayon
  • Watercolor Paint
  • Paint Brush

How to Set Up

  1. Print the Chanafavors printable file.
  2. Write the answers in the middle penguins with a white crayon.
  3. Divide each row of penguin images.

How to play

  1. Start with the first row. Point to the number on the left and ask your child if they know the number. Point to the number on the right and ask if they know the number.
  2. Read the left number, ask for the middle number, and read the right number.
  3. Invite your child to paint the middle penguins with a watercolor brush to check their answers.
